Logan O’Hoppe crushed two home runs and drove in three runs, while Jo Adell and Zach Neto also went deep as the Los Angeles Angels extended their winning streak to a season-best six games with a 10-5 win over the Oakland Athletics on Wednesday night.

O’Hoppe opened the fourth inning with his second blast of the game — his 13th of the season and third in two nights — before Adell followed with his sixth of the year. Neto had already given the Angels the lead for good with a two-run shot in the third, his eighth of the season.

The Angels recorded five separate two-run innings, showcasing a balanced offensive attack. Taylor Ward had a triple and double among his three hits, while Jorge Soler collected three hits, including two doubles and two RBI.

Héctor Neris (2-1) picked up the win in relief.

Oakland, mired in an eight-game losing skid — their longest season — has been outscored 62-21 during the stretch. JP Sears (4-4) allowed six runs and a career-high four homers over five innings.

A’s rookie Nick Kurtz went deep twice for the second night in a row, giving him four homers overall. Lawrence Butler added a three-run homer, his seventh.

Tyler Soderstrom and Max Schuemann each had three hits for the A’s, who left 13 runners stranded. In Tuesday’s game, Oakland’s top hitter, Jacob Wilson, sat out after taking a pitch off his left forearm.
